Highly effective Spanish horror clearly influenced by The Blair Witch Project but sufficiently different and inventive in its own right. Told in the form of a live late-night TV report following the work of a Barcelona fire station, a young TV reporter and her camerman accompany two of them as they respond to a call concerning a woman trapped in an apartment block. What follows is in turns unexpected and the stuff of nightmares, as the rescuers and the other tenants find themselves trapped and ultimately under attack from each other. As with Blair Witch the entire film is shot with a hand-held camera and maintains its unsettling and frightening mood to the very end.
